Day By Day
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your private safari guide and transferred to Mateves Boutique Lodge.
The lodge is set in a peaceful environment surrounded by greenery, offering a soft landing after your international journey. Depending on arrival time, you may relax in the gardens or rest before dinner.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, depart for Materuni village near the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.
This experience combines a guided walk through lush landscapes with a visit to a traditional coffee farm, where you will learn the full process of coffee production from harvesting to roasting and tasting. Local farmers share traditional methods and cultural insights.
You will also visit Materuni Waterfall, a scenic natural site surrounded by tropical vegetation, ideal for photography and relaxation.
Return to Mateves Boutique Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.
The park is known for its massive elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. Wildlife is concentrated along the Tarangire River, especially during the dry season, attracting zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and predators such as lions and leopards.
A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, followed by continued game viewing in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at Suricata Boma Lodge.
After breakfast, proceed to Mto wa Mbu for a cultural immersion experience.
This vibrant village is home to multiple ethnic communities living together. Activities may include visiting local farms, banana plantations, traditional homes, art workshops, and a guided village walk. You will also experience local cuisine and community interactions.
Return to Suricata Boma Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro highlands.
The drive offers dramatic landscape transitions, from forested highlands to the vast open plains of the Serengeti. Game viewing begins upon entry into the park, with opportunities to see giraffes, elephants, antelopes, and predators.
Arrive at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Spend the full day exploring the Serengeti ecosystem with a private safari guide.
The day is dedicated to tracking wildlife movements and maximizing sightings of predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as large herbivore herds including wildebeest and zebras.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the bush, allowing uninterrupted exploration of the park.
Return to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive as you exit the Serengeti.
Continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with scenic stops along the way.
Arrive at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, located on the crater rim with stunning panoramic views. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.
The crater is one of Africa’s most wildlife-dense ecosystems, offering high chances of spotting the Big Five including lions, elephants, buffalo, and the endangered black rhino. Flamingos and hippos are often seen around the soda lake.
After a picnic lunch, ascend and continue to Arusha.
Dinner and overnight at Olerai Lodge.
After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
