7 Days High-End Northern Circuit Safari – Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to Mateves Boutique Lodge.

The lodge offers a quiet, garden setting ideal for relaxation after your journey. Depending on arrival time, you may unwind, enjoy the surroundings, or prepare for the safari ahead. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. The drive introduces you to rural Tanzania, passing local villages and open landscapes.

Upon entering the park, begin a full-day game drive. Tarangire is known for its large elephant population and ancient baobab trees. The Tarangire River attracts a wide range of wildlife, including zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and predators such as lions.

Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing with afternoon game viewing.

Later, transfer to Manyara Secret for dinner and overnight in a peaceful and elevated setting.

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro highlands.

This scenic drive offers changing landscapes—from forested hills to vast open plains. Along the way, you may stop at viewpoints overlooking the Ngorongoro area.

Upon entering the Serengeti, begin a game drive en route to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge. Expect to encounter wildlife such as giraffes, antelope, and possibly predators as you approach the central plains.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch.

This day allows in-depth exploration of the Serengeti ecosystem. Your guide will track wildlife movements, increasing your chances of observing lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Large herds of wildebeest and zebras are commonly seen, depending on the season.

The day includes exploration of different habitats open plains, kopjes, and river areas each supporting diverse wildlife.

Return to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive as you exit the Serengeti.

Continue toward the Ngorongoro Crater, passing through the Ngorongoro highlands. The journey offers scenic views and additional wildlife sightings

Arrive in the Manyara area and check in at Manyara Secret.

Relax at the lodge, enjoy the views, and prepare for the next day’s crater experience. Dinner and overnight.

Early breakfast followed by descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

The crater offers one of the highest densities of wildlife in Africa, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and with some luck the endangered black rhino. A picnic lunch is enjoyed inside the crater.

After ascending, proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for a short game drive if time permits. The park is known for its tree-climbing lions, lush groundwater forest, and birdlife including flamingos.

Later, continue to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Olerai Lodge.

After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.

Depending on your schedule, there may be time for a short stop in Arusha before departure.
